Daisy Gerber :)

2 weeks before Kjell and I got married a puppy was born. We knew we couldn't live without a dog like my Mom's dog Pheobie we both love her so much and I knew I would be so lonely without a puppy in the house. So 3 weeks after we got home from our honeymoon in Hawaii we went to the house where Pheobie  was born and found our little fluffy puppy... Daisy has been such a joy in our life and she is our little firecracker!

The Proposal...

5 months into dating both Kjell and I knew we wanted to get married. We went to Vegas over Valentines day weekend with my cheer squad. We stayed in a hotel with one of my best friends and her fiance Kirsten and Logan. We had the best weekend together it was so fun! After that it was all down hill!

I kept hinting to Kjell that I wanted to go ring shopping with him but he was determined to do it on his own. Well he didn't get his way, finally one day we went and found my ring now I just had to wait till he popped the question...

I waited 2 months (at least i didnt wait as long as Kirst... haha) It was Kjell's first trip to Lake Powell with me and my family. He had this idea he got from my grandparents, who take self portrats of themselves by setting up a tripod and using a remote to take the picture for them. He had mentioned to me that he wanted to do that at sunset one night so we got on one of the waverunners, and packed away his expensive camera and my ring inside the front compartment. I could tell how nervous he was about this little trip of ours, but I didn't put two and two together until I was standing there on the beach with a camera pointed at me the sun setting behind me and my cute boyfriend. As he got on one knee I couldn't contain how excited I was. He asked me if I would marry him and I don't think I even said yes I just took the ring slid it on my finger and leaned down and kissed him. It was perfect :)

Our Beginning....

One of my favorite places to go in high school was Harts the gas station on state street in Lehi. You hardly ever saw me without a Harts cup in my hand at school. It was the place to be especially on Thursday nights where we would have "Harts Parties" and a bunch of us would just hangout in the parking lot. It just so happens that one night someone I didn't know came to the party, and it seemed like everyone else knew who he was but me. He had long hair with a headband, and a funny name. When he found out who I was he called me famous! I was confused by this, how did he know me? Apparently he had seen my music video I had done for the fim festival earlier that year, he had taken the same video class in high school, and had some friends in my same year who invited him. He recognized me as the girl in the rock video ;) That was the night I met Kjell. 3 or 4 weeks later I found him on facebook and fell in love with his pictures we started talking online and the next day we went on our first date! Exactly a year later we were married!
